SOCIAL SHORT RINK SESSIONS

Fridays 11am - 1pm

In 2025 we introduced an experimental 'short rink' social session. Very closely based on the indoor Short Mat game, we have 2 temporary rinks set out on the green to the exact dimensions and layout of a short mat carpet.

The game is played with regular lawn bowls and follows the same rules as Short Mat.​

These sessions were extrememly well recieved and attracted many existing and new members, some of whom struggled to play in the full outdoor game due to physical difficulties.​

Due to it's success we are delighted to be running these sessions again in 2026 on a Friday morning 11am - 1pm with a short teabreak halfway through and are included in your annual membership fee, with a green fee of £3 per session.
